What is estrogen dominance ?
Estrogen dominance happens when estrogen is higher in relation to progesterone causing a hormone imbalance. When this happens in women, there can be irregularities with the menstrual cycle such as a long period, a heavy period with clots or a longer cycle between periods. This may lead to many of the symptoms that are listed below.
This is one of the most common hormone imbalances in women and can happen at any age but is more common in teenagers just starting their period, after taking external hormones such as birth control, postpartum or during perimenopause. High estrogen may also be the reason for issues with weight loss or stalled weight loss on low carb diets.

Eat plenty of fiber, up to 30g per day for a daily bowel movement
Focus on your circadian rhythm and work towards restful sleep
